The project at 83 East Street involved converting an existing office facility into 16 new flats.
We were tasked by the main contractor, Innovate Space, to provide an acoustic flooring system in order to provide a comfortable atmosphere for residents to live in and to comply with Approved Document E of Building Regulations.
After examining the project, we recommended two different flooring options. The main contractor opted for the option that resulted in a faster installation time.
UK Acoustic Systems supplied and installed a dry screed acoustic flooring flooring which was a high quality, interlocking flooring system using gypsum fibreboard technology, in order to provide a solution for soundproofing difficulties, effectively and efficiently. Our installation team applied this acoustic flooring solution over approximately 840m2, ensuring the project was achieving all of its key milestones and targets.
