This stunning project, “The Orangery” located within The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, has been shortlisted in the Building Acoustics section. The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is renowned as one of London’s four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Its captivating gardens showcase geometric designs, remarkable glasshouses, and a blend of historical and contemporary architecture.
We were contracted to supply and install Absorb-R GypLine aw Acoustic Spray Plaster to the ceiling within The Orangery to assist with sound absorption within the building.
Absorb-R GypLine aw Acoustic Spray Plaster was chosen due to its seamless finish providing amazing reductions in reverberation times whilst blending into the look of the whole ceiling which gave a sophisticated but modern without compromising the aesthetics of the building.
