Introduction
UK Acoustic Systems started installation on this 3,260 m2 project back in November 2013, where we installed the FFT2 Acoustic Saddle Cradle & Batten System as well as 70mm Soundproof FFT1 Acoustic Battens. Each of these systems are compliant with Robust Detail criteria and each are able to significantly reduce and improve Airborne and Impact noise performance levels.
Located on a very busy stretch of road in the centre of Wembley this project presented many challenges. Due to also being in a compact residential area, there were strict delivery restrictions and a tight works programme. Early planning, on site communication and phased delivery co-ordination were paramount at all times to ensure the smooth running of installation expectations.
