UCLAN, Preston Campus is right at the heart of the city, just minutes away from its vibrant shopping centre, attractions and student nightlife. It’s home to a thriving international community of over 38,000 students and staff.
The Student Centre looks out over Adelphi Square – the new centrepiece of our stunning campus and one of the largest civic spaces to have been developed in England over the last 100 years. It will become an iconic gateway linking together the city and the University as well as a thriving hub for student and community events.
The campus’ £60 million Student Centre opened its doors in September 2021 providing students with a first-class advice and support services. That not only looked good, but also had the students and staff well being in mind. As this was such a large open space, sound absorption requirements were paramount to unsure the centre was conducive to learning.
